Omer Aziz is a writer and author of the forthcoming memoir, Brown Boy: A Story of Race, Religion, and Inheritance. He has written for the New York Times, The Atlantic, The New Republic, and other outlets. Educated at Queen’s University, the Institute for Political Studies in Paris, Cambridge, and Yale Law School, he worked previously as a legal clerk in the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria, and most recently as a Policy Advisor to the Foreign Minister of Canada.
